Soccer transfer
 

I saw a tweet today from Katie Houck. She is now at St. Louis and with the new A10 transfer rule will be immediately eligible. I believe she started or at least played in every game as a Freshman. Puzzling.

Thats a tough one. First Mertz, now Houck. You're either with us or against us.

Houck was/is from St. Louis. I believe she was "dating" Sissoko most of last year.

When she got yanked from the A10 semifinal @St. Louis, her dad made an embarrassing display of himself as he laid into Golz and the Dayton staff for pulling her from the game in front of her "hometown" friends and family.

It's a shame, as Houck had a seemingly solid year for the Flyers. SLU is loaded and will remain that way for the near future. Houck will have to really earn her minutes on that roster, that has a lot of talent and depth.

There might be a number of things that went into this transfer. But it stings for her to end up with our biggest rival.

SLU is recruiting well. Dayton's cupboard is not empty however. We might be the best challenger, again, for the Bills this year. Just happy to get back to some normalcy this fall and enjoy weekends under the lights at Baujan.
