Texas Rangers grab Hauschild Rule 5

Another Dayton MBL team possibly. That would make three that I know of.

3rd item down.

My business partners team...now I may have to follow them too.

As a rule 5 pick he either makes the major league roster or the astros get him back for half price. Would seem to have a decent shot sticking on the Rangers.

He is currently the only Flyer on an MLB roster.

Blevins is currently an unsigned free agent. I think he will likely be invited to a camp, and I expect on a major league contract.

Stammen was nontendered by the Nationals at the end of 2015. He signed a minor league contract with the Indians before 2016 spring training. He spent all of last year in the minors and is a free agent again. He ought to sign with the Reds. With their bullpen needs might be his best chance to get back on an MLB roster.

Besides Stammen and Blevins I think Roggenburk is the only Flyer with MLB service time.

GM Jon Daniels has been superb at finding good talent on the cheap. Hauschild has a great opportunity ahead of him. Rangers not only find them, but they continue to develop them.

They also have bullpen needs, although not as critical. Guarantee that Daniels has Stammen on the radar depending on his value in the market.

Do the Flyers have a centerfielder and/or a first baseman somewhere out there? :)

Stammen might be about done unless he spent the year rehabbing. Started in Triple A for Indians and finished the year in Double A if I recall correctly. Given the Indians pitching injuries you would think he would have made the MLB roster at some point.
