.A win is a win and this win was not pretty but hard fought 19-14. The Broncos played a good team and had enough talent to hold when needed & score enough points even though the two weeks off with only two practices made for some poor timing...like in hike, hike, oops... it was on three!
The next Euro challenge will be June 16 or 17th against the very impressive (they had 5 TV cameras covering their game yesterday) Swarco Raiders Tirol from Innsbruck. Hope the Broncs are better prepared than this time.
Here is what Marcel at Sprots Heute wrote before the game:
Stars in top form -
The Calanda stars with names like DJ Wolfe, Tissi Robinson, Sasha and Marko Glavic, the whirlwind, and arguably the best player at the moment Steve Valentino...
...and so you see that recognition has arrived in Europe for a former Flyer.
Nice action shot of the Bronco "Big Boy" in Austria against the JCL Graz Giants. Note the travel uni for the Broncos is orange, not red or blue. The Presdident & owner is a fan of the Texas Longhorns, hence the road color!

The caption under this photo said that Valentino occupied the entire Grazer defense; and indeed he was a decoy often.
No TD's but some key receptions & a long 4th qtr kick return!
***********************************
Call this "taking a good hit!"
**********************************************
Is this 7 on 7?
*******************************
Definetely tight roping on the far sideline!
*******************************************
You've seen this move before.
************************************
Yes, he can block too...can you say "pancake but without a topping"?!
******************************
Here's that blue #7 grabbing again...
********************************************
Not a tear-away for sure!
************************************
The Giants average 3,000 a game in Austria
**********************************************
Some happy Swiss fans in attendence...even a blonde in sunglasses & a red UD shirt!

Finally a happy Bronco owner!
Thanks to Sports Heute and Marcel!
