So, how about a nice update regarding NCAA bids and all.

Ohio State beat Maryland this week, so Ohio State is at 15-15 with a game at Illinois on Saturday. Playing in the Big10 has them with a top 5 SOS, and a 3-15 top 50 record. Losses don't matter, but wins do, so the game is a play-in game for Ohio State on Saturday.

Maryland losing, moves their 3-14 top 50 record into FigAdjRPI 54. That's behind College of Charleston, with a 3-2 top 50 at FigAdjRPI 48.

Iowa (45) plays at Nebraska on Saturday as well. That bunch of 45-55 teams, with 3 top 50 wins...I think 1 is going to get left out, most likely a non-big-5 school. (College of Charleston)

MVC semi-finals are today, with a final tomorrow. Can only guess that the 2 best teams will be in the final, and one will get to 5 top 50 wins, while the other stays at 4, and both get in with mid 40 RPIs. (Though, Missouri State could make it to under 40 if they win it all.) (An upset here, takes away that 3-win top 50 team above...)

BE semifinals start today, with finals tomorrow. A Butler win might help their cause, but they and Villanova could steal a bid as well.

Hawaii is upto AdjRpi 36. But, still 1 top 50 win. Missouri and LSU are comparable to Hawaii in resume, so that is interesting. 1 top 50 win, but Missouri has SOS 29, versus Hawaii 63 and LSU 57.

It's coming down to the wire. I'd bet the selection committee is already in the room figuring out Penn State will host Stony Brook, Long Island, and American.
