I would guess that this allows them to cut a bunch of women's sports now. Maybe they are going to use the Dayton model for football.

Brian, the UD model makes sense for DU; indeed, I know it does and they would be a solid addition to the PFL. I suppose they can change their minds. but it was just a few years ago that they decided to offer scholarships and join the NEC for football. This is called the "Fordham school" of athletics stupidity.

You're right, this makes absolutely no sense for Duquesne. And I had to chuckle at your Fordham analogy, so true.
