Dayton's Jenna Burdette was selected as the GEICO Atlantic 10 Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week while George Mason’s Nicole Cardano-Hillary and
George Washington’s Neila Luma were chosen as the league’s Co-Rookies of the Week. The awards, announced Monday, were for games played Feb. 12-18.
Burdette, a senior from Coolville, Ohio, led the Flyers to a win over
Fordham, clinching at least a share of the A-10 Regular Season Championship. With 27 points and eight assists on Senior Day, Burdette helped Dayton win its 15th straight game while shooting 10-of-19 (.526) from the field, 4-of-8 (.500) from three-point range, and 3-of-3 (1.000) from the free throw line.
