In an 8-9 game at least UD can avoid UConn. That's for either Miami or Quinnipiac.

We can beat Marquette. I just hope we go out and do our thing. Louisville is gonna be tough, but let's get the first win under our belts.
Go Flyers!

I figured an 8-10, so a 9 is fine with me. Marquette is beatable, so let's get it done. One at a time

We've beaten Louisville the last two times by 16 points each. Jenna was a thorn in their side as they tried to full court press and Jenna split their defense.
But first things first.

JaVonna must have a person on the committee to get to play at home two years in a row!

Life in the Big East. I wish they could play permanently in that conference. Better competition would probably help recruiting.

A little something about Marquette. They tied DePaul for the BE at 15-3 and were 23-9 overall. They also got drilled by DePaul by 35 in the tourney. They lost to Green Bay by 8, and only by 6 to ND in OT. They seem similar to UD, in that they score a bunch and give up a bunch. They have 6'4" and 6'3" kids, who do not start. Their lineup is actually smaller than ours.

All five starters are juniors and average double figures. The stud is Blockton at 19 and 6.

RPI and SOS
MU's RPI and SOS are 25 and 40 respectively....vs Flyers 36 RPI and 92 SOS.....pretty big differences.

I’ve watched Marquette play in several high level games this year. It’s not a good matchup for the Flyers. They are very athletic and fast. The Flyers don’t have a depth at all positions. If the two weeks off gives them the stamina they will need, that would be a good thing. I’m glad the Flyers get a chance to play in the NCAA’s, but the goal for the Flyers is reaching the second weekend. Stay focused and play confidently. Good luck Flyers!!

Only one senior on Marquette and she doesn't play much. The first off the bench Van Kleunen is from Mason HS. They go at least eight deep and interesting in that none of the five starters average more than 31 minutes a game.

We will once again get the "whip around coverage" on ESPN2. Your team makes the big dance and no TV. Someone needs to call out the NCAA and TV networks on their discrimination of women's sports. I assume it will be on the web on the ESPN app.

Where do you live. Dayton will be protected and get the entire game. My problem with the coverage is ESPN has, plenty of platforms to show all four. Use ESPN News, use classic and use ESPN U. Preempt the garbage on those channels.
