Not sure this helps us as both teams have strong running games.... I thought the difference maker would be Bardo making some passes off of scrambles which would also open up his running game.... Not to mention that I am not looking forward to being soaked. Rain is one thing, but rain and 25 mph wind makes for some soggy fans.... It will be a longer drive back to the Motor City if we are drenched.... Oh well, it is football after all.... I'll be there doing my best to cheer on the soggy Flyers....

I think this might be the ideal situation for UD. The wind and rain may keep it a low scoring game and give UD a chance. Let's hope ISU makes a few mistakes and gives UD a short field and you never know.

Chatted with Coach Chamberlin a bit last night before he hit the radio. He said there are lots of UD alums coming to the game from the Chicago area. Hopefully the weather will not be too bad, but we are packing our rain gear and extra clothes just in case. It couldn't possibly be worse than the Ohio Nat'l Guard game that Tino and Wingeier played in a couple years ago. It felt like we were in a monsoon. The only way we could have been wetter is if we jumped in a pool.

Just checked the forcast for Normal on Saturday and they are predicting heavy rain but looks like they have updated it to show the bad stuff coming after the game ends so maybe the Flyer fans heading over will luck out.
