Seniors got the job done today. Would have liked the shutout, but, I'm not gonna be greedy.

Just a great day for soccer on Senior day. Great way to go out.
Thought Johns should have come out after the ball on the Bonnie goal. Think she could have got to it.
We were really beating on SBU the first 20 minutes. They were shell-shocked. However, they are not a strong side. We did what we should.
Chilton looked good at left mid.
Will really miss the "Canadian Connection" when they graduate. Campbell leaves with the all-time UD goal record and Waters with the all-time assist record. Wonder how many of those were to each other? A bunch I am sure.
By the way, with 15 assists, Waters is now leading the country for this season.

The team is gelling at the right time. They played with so much heart today and great to see some kids get PT who rarely see the field. Let's keep the ball rolling.

The girl from Miss Valley State has 16 assists, but about 5 of them are against non-DI competition. The NCAA makes no distinction it seems, but I am certainly going to. MVSU beat juggernaut Lincoln University (PA) 15-1 and the MVSU player had 3 assists today.
I'll say this, Waters earned the career assist record without making a career of padding the stat sheet from the corner flag. She got the record on spite of it, not because of it. You could say the same thing about Campbell. Few of her goals were set pieces (in fairness neither were Willys).
Hard to take much from this match. SBU is not good. I think the best teams in the league that will challenge for the A10 title are SLU, VCU, GW, Fordham, and us. Id throw LaSalle in there too b/c of their defense. We beat SLU and Fordham, and lost to VCU and LaSalle. We dont play 1st place GW. The schedule was favorable to win the league, but defensive snoozes vs VCU and LaSalle threw us into catch-up mode.
We have the best offense in the league, so with that you always have a chance. We need to win the last two matches vs Duquesne and LaSalle, get to 10-9 overall, and then lock down defensively in the A10 tourney.

SLU will most likely not make the A10 tourney although I hope they can get a positive result Thursday and give us a chance for the 2nd seed.
