2016 A10 tournament seeding - MSOC
Five teams have clinched a berth as of 10/29/16:
Saint Louis, Fordham, VCU, Duquesne, La Salle
Either Saint Louis or Fordham would be the 1 seed.
UMass (11 pts, 2 g remain) Can clinch with a tie or better
Bonaventure (10 pts, 1 g remain) Can clinch with a win or better
Rhody (9 pts, 1 g remain) in with a win; or in with tie coupled with GW loss/tie or Dayton loss/tie
SJU (9 pts, 0 g remain) Can only get the 8th seed IF Rhody, GW, and Dayton ALL lose.
GW (8 pts, 1 g remain) Can only get in by beating ST LOUIS and getting help.
Dayton (8 pts, 1 g remain) Can only get in by beating VCU and getting help.

SAINT BONAVENTURE
Founded in 1858, St. Bonaventure University is a liberal arts college located on 500 acres in southwestern New York state. SBU offers 43 undergraduate majors, the most popular of which are elementary education, journalism, psychology, accounting, marketing, finance, and management. Total undergraduate enrollment is 2,000. Virtually all freshmen and most undergraduates live on campus. A founding member of the A10 Conference. Famous athletes include Bob Lanier. Historical nickname was the Brown Indians, but later changed to the Bonnies. Their mascot is a wolf. |

At first I thought Umass would take care of bidness but their remaining schedule is quite a challenge despite that "game in hand" it is with nearly unbeatable fordham. so maybe there is hope for the Dayton Flyers and maybe that tiebreaker over them could come into play after all.
