Interesting hire.
Look forward to learning more about him, because the press release didn't have much other than a couple canned quotes and a listing of his professional stops.
Wonder where he stands as a recruiter (any AAU or regional ties) and whether he works with big men or guards or brings any other expertise to the staff.

He's supposedly very close to Evan Mahaffey's dad... Played 2 years together at Miami
We will see if that closes the deal.

Is Brannen gone? Any other assistant's leaving? Whatever helps the program.

Would love to see this come to fruition.
He didn't get a lot of run at Penn State, but I think he'd be very valuable on the wing for a few years. At 6'6", 200 lbs, he's got a well-rounded game and does a little bit of everything. Was the GCL player of the year as a senior, GCL defensive player of the year as a junior and was an honors society member.

The changes will allow Division I baseball, softball and ice hockey teams to have four full-time coaches instead of three. Basketball coaching staffs can increase by two, though the two additional coaches will not be permitted to recruit off-campus.

Smart kid who’s strong defensively? Yeah, I’d like to have a few of those guys on our roster.
