UMass game
Heard on pre-game that Scaife is out with a leg injury -- carry over from VCU game.
At the time, I thought it was "only" a muscle cramp.
Green described it as "tweaked".
Wilmoth gets the start in Scaife's absence.

Noteable stats -
Only 7 turnovers. Outstanding!
Layfield's 17 boards came in only 27 minutes of court time
We had zero fast break points. Ouch.
We only had 6 bench points. Nothing new there.
The bench shot 3-20 from the field - 15% - not good at all
With Scaife out- Wilmoth played 32 minutes - probably her most ever
Around the league-
GDub beat GMU tonight - a bit of a surprise. We are at GDub on Sunday at noon on ESPNU.

I posted a link to this quote in another thread but it compliments your observation so I'll include it here:
Third in her conference but fourth nationally in rebounding (the A-10 has some rebounders), JaVonna Layfield totaled 18 points and 17 rebounds against the Dukes. She's the only player in the top 15 nationally in rebounding who is listed at shorter than 6 feet, and one of only three such players averaging double-digit rebounds per game.
