Let's Dance

BEVERLY HILLS (MI) -- A visit to one of the many Syracuse men’s basketball Twitter feeds (take your pick: there are @SyrBall; @Cuse; @Cuse_MBB; @syrbasketball, amongst others) provides a wealth of material on Head Basketball Coach Jim Boeheim. Coach Boeheim is the original salty dude -- let’s face it, he’s never happy -- altho he was low sodium Coach B this week.

Let’s crank up the Jimmy B quote machine, shall we?

“This is the happiest I’ve ever been on Selection Sunday.”

“It turned out best for us. We had our punishment last year because we wouldn’t have gone last year.”

“This was the most important selection Sunday I have had in 40 years.”

Coach B said on Mike & Mike that he was “90 percent sure” Syracuse wasn’t going to make the Tournament.

“You sure don’t want a two-hour selection show when you’re not sure.”

"We have a team that's capable. It's not going to be easy, but I like that we have a reasonable chance."

“I’ve seen Dayton play probably seven or eight times this season. They’re the same team that beat us a few years ago.”

And finally, in response to Doug Gottlieb’s comment that any team that lost to St. John’s shouldn’t be in the NCAA Tournament:

"You lose your credibility, if you have any, when you say things like that."

In this Presidential election year, FCC regulations require “FTS” to give equal time to the hometown candidate, Flyer Head Coach Archie Miller:

Highlights of Archie’s interview with Jim Rome include discussions about Syracuse and Jim Valvano:
