Roggy played for the Twins, but had arm problems

Roggy was a Twin, but spent some time in Swamp's backyard at Fenway . . . in fact for a long time he was the Sox roving minor league pitching coach.
Key word . . . .AGAIN . . . yeah we made the Elite 8 in '84 (actually Elite 5), in '67 of course, didn't realize we were there before that.
Got close out in Iowa when we lost to UK on their way to the famous loss to Texas Western in, I guess it was '66.

Oakland announces Ralph Hill as a transfer. Includes interview with Coach Kampe.
Link
"He shot 50% from three his freshman year in seven games played." Yea. 3-6. But, I digress...

Yeah, London Warren hit 50% of his threes during his first two seasons (4-8 and 1-2). I don't think that qualifies him as a sharpshooter.

Got to sell tickets any way they can
Saying "Ralph Hill only made three 3pt shots in his first full season" wouldn't do much to peak the student and fan interest now would it? These PR guys/gals have a job to do.
UD has had a few laughers in their releases from time-to-time.

Ralph can shoot the ball from deep pretty well. If he gets some playing time I would guess 35-38% from 3's. His "D" would be the trouble spot. Just my guess. Let's hope he has a good time and plays some more bball.

RH is going to be a big fish in a small pond, as opposed to having been a small fish in a big pond at UD. He will get a chance to show what he can do, and with the level of competition being lower, I think he will do well. His numbers at UD were not great, but that's understandable. RH has a good head on his shoulder. he also has a chip on his shoulder and he will put in the time to prove that he is better than what most fans perceive him to be based on his UD career. I sure hope he does well.

It's also a good fit, because Kampe loves-loves-loves his teams to score. Defending is not a priority. Ralph should flourish within this system.
And just for good measure I checked out kenpom's efficiency stats for the last five season.
