I have not confirmed my own report...I'm not home, but my parents are at the game (UK fans). My dad texted and said Pierre was on the team.

Confirmed, he is on Team Toronto. Currently sitting on the bench, unsure if he has been in already.

Confirmed. He just hit a jumper and the announcers said that was “Dyshawn Pierre, who played ball at the University of Dayton, second team all Atlantic 10. He hit a pair of free throws that helped eliminate Ohio State from the tournament a few years ago.”

Pierre, along with Ramod Marshall will go down as two of the most under-hyped and underrated players I have ever seen at UD. Both should be UD HOFers.

I am not sure I ever remember any player that had that innate sense of how to attack a zone as Pierre had... I think he beat the vaunted Syracuse zone all by himself... the guy was AWESOME at it!

Pierre and Pollard also developed some inside/inside passing skills,
and the guards knew where and when to get these guys the ball.
I believe couple of guys had that foul line role, until we found Pierre hugely capable of getting loose and getting the entry pass into the zone.
He could drive the hole or pass it out, or pass down low to another Flyer. That's basically a Triple Threat from the foul line.

This is what I hope for from Mikesell. Get the ball in the middle. Make smart plays. Don't turn it over. Make the guys around you better.

That's a fair assessment. We'll see if Ryan is strong enough with the ball to play that role.
