You actually get the link to work? I just get a message that I need to download the A10 apps for my phone or iPad (I'm using a desktop), or alternatively, that the video isn't supported on my mobile device, use a desktop browser, which I am.

13 turnovers in the 1st half. SBU 33 to 31 at half. Our bench has 12 points.

This game is almost unwatchable. We have 13 TOs and SBU has 14. It s like neither team has any idea how to play the game of basketball.

Boy was that an ugly win but a win on the road is a big win. BSU has won something like 9 home A-10 games before today. Giant 3 by CM to seal the win.

Bonnies announcers couldn't get her name right but what a hero. Ruff had an open look at the buzzer but it didn't go.

Happy for Macioce. She saved us. It was a win. But to play that sloppy against #230 in the RPI -- ugh. The Bonnies are not very good - had they beaten us it would have been their best win of the season -- think about that. They dont play anybody over 6-1.

Shauna talked about Macioce having the confidence to take the shot. Forget that coachspeak crap. It was a desperation shot. Make it we win. Miss it we lose. Macioce had to shoot it. She made it. Props to her. She is a decent shooter, but give her that same shot 50 times and she might make 5 of them.

I believe Christy was recruited in large part due to her 3 point shooting, and don't think it was coachspeak.

No disagreement on her ability to shoot the 3. She was subbed in for exactly that purpose. However, either she shoots or the game is over. There was no other choice or confidence option.
We had a couple similar situations earlier this year (last possession win or lose) - and we failed to even get off a decent shot.

If you paid attention to the last play you saw Jenna take the ball and dribble to the left side where Christi was planted (as per the plan drawn up by coach House) Jenna was to take the defenders with her and then quickly turned and gave the ball to the planted in place ready to shoot Christie. It was no mistake, it was drawn up that way and Jenna did what she was supposed to do and that was draw the defenders to her leaving Christie open.
Christie would make a lot more than 5 of 50. What you smoking man, a 30 percent shooter and you only give her 5. Oh ye of little faith or respect.
BTW thought it was interesting that coach House was the one who drew up the play and not Shauna, but he must have seen something and went for it. Lets give credit where credit is do.
Christie was inserted into that play for that exact purpose and not to just look pretty. Even the announcers acknowledged that Christie had fresh legs and was in perfect spot for that shot. She's made them from there before. Since they were hounding Jenna all night it was a no brainer they were going to tail her to keep her from taking the last shot. Jenna didn't hesitate, she knew Christie was going to be there. Fortunately her shot went in and Ruff's shot rimmed around

Lets look at the positives from last night:
First and foremost we got a "W" on the road against a team that had won 9 straight home games. There were 9 other teams that would have liked to have won by 2 points.
Secondly we finished a game where we were struggling again and stayed the course to get the "W". Earlier in the year this was another "L".
UD got 18 points from the bench compared to 7 for the Bonnies.
UD got 25 2nd chance points compared to Bonnies 9, we had 19 offensive rebounds.
UD forced the Bonnies into 21 turnovers (yes we had 19) as it was a very hard fought physical game.
Kelley got 14 points going 6 for 6 at freethrow line and 4 assists.
LC and SGA both contributed 9 points as LC is beginning to hit her average.
Layfield again came away with a double double 11points and 11 rebounds.
While not quite there yet, the team is learning to fight through inconsistencies, sluggish offense, poor shooting etc to eke out another "W".
Still confident they will hit their stride at the right time and take the A-10 tourney and auto bid.
