54-50 us after three quarters. We will see what we have left. The five starters, other than LC with 10 minutes, have played almost the whole game.

77-65 as Flyers win it going away. Great game by Jenna 21, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and only 3 turnovers. Double double by Grant and Layfield. Not a great win, but progress.

Solid numbers by SGA and Burdette. However, my player of the game is Layfield. She really took over the glass in the 4th quarter with a bunch of boards and offensive stickbacks. It was through her efforts that we were finally able to pull away late. She doesn't mind mixing it up under the rim. She also went 4-4 from the line.

When she plays within herself - like working hard around bucket - she can really help the team.

I totally agree on Javonna, but my star today goes to Alex Harris. She just plays with aggressiveness and fairly smart basketball. She crashes the boards and sees the floor pretty well. She is a good passer. I would like to see her be more aggressive as a scorer down low, but today they sagged on her and she looked for the pass.

I still am unsure why we have our bigs so far out at the 3 point line....it drives me crazy.

Overall today was a good team win. They kept battling hard the 4th quarter. I thought they played well defensively that last quarter.

I really like how JaVonna plays -- she's my favorite this year!
