2020 Grad Transfer

Horsmon adds to next year’s team with a 6-rotation OH. It’s an interesting addition. If she can go 6-rotations and hit from the back, it will help JPete. It puts two hitters on the floor that can take the sets when we are out-of-System. Defenses can’t just cheat over to Peterson. She will be enrolled for spring and will be playing in spring competition.

Looking at the spring roster, I see the Russian player that was a community college transfer in last year, but did not play, has moved on and is no longer with the team. Adding this grad transfer Swink would be a big upgrade. They play the same positions - both left and right OH. Swink has good blocking stats from her time at Alabama - over .60 per set. On the outside that’s a good number. She will probably compete for the Rightside OH to replace Pla who graduates.
