Flyers 1, Spiders 0
Pauley with free kick in 86'.
Mason beats La Salle 1-0 on a late goal. This means Flyers have qualified for the A-10 tournament.
That being said, I have never seen a Dayton women's team so devoid of offensive ability. Defensively we hung tough and kept our shape. Although we somewhat outplayed a woeful Richmond team, we just do not have the skill set to beat the first defender. No speed, no creativity, no dynamic skills. There is no Alexis Kiehl out there this year.

Edit: I have been corrected. Sunday's game is for seventh place and will determine the Flyers next opponent. If a tie, UMass stays ahead. Need a win to move up the ranks from 8th place to 7th and face VCU.

I never thought I would ever see the day when a Dayton WSOC team would have a monumental struggle beating a 1-14-1 A10 team, but that's where we are at. I wrote about 10 more paragraphs but then deleted them. No point in beating a dead horse. You already know what I think. Perhaps I will say more at the end of the season.
We qualified tonight and kept the streak going. On this team, you never let a moment to celebrate go untapped.
