GW game
Typical UD is not ready to broadcast at 11am
1st qtr over still no streaming. UD has to rank last in A10 for streaming. Totally inept

Anything can happen but really hard to see us winning the A-10. Maybe a WNIT bid but would we advance? Seems like an off year, that will hopefully change next year.

25 -25 at half. Better flow in the offense last 5 minutes. Hopefully it continues in 2nd half.

So glad they played the player intros with the women cancer survivors.
While i appreciate the push for cancer this was a big issue when I was a kid. Lost mothe, several aunts and sister to this horrible disease and am a cancer survivor myself.......but can't believe they haven't found answers in all these years. Count me skeptical

Down 2 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Another horribly played offensive game. They aren't going to win this one and quite frankly I don't think they are making any tournament.
Just don't understand why we shoot so many bad shots.

Ok...their defense has been really solid this last 3 to 4 minute stretch.
Keep it up and finish this off

UD unchoked in the 4th qtr. Perhaps they are beginning to gel at the right time. Davidson and Fordham on the horizon. Both just ahead of them in standings.
Finally a good finish. Go Flyers

Great finish, but they sure do play some ugly basketball between runs.

Did not get to see the game. Sounded like a great finish for a change. 25 pts and 47% shooting in the 4th quarter, while holding GW to 14 pts and 31% shooting.
Same two led us of course, but looks like Bradshaw had a nice game with 2-2 shooting, 9 pts, 5 assists and no turnovers.

That was a tough, physical game. Jayla especially took a beating. Flyers defense looked pretty good, as usual.
GW is very quick and played solid D -- Flyers had a tough time getting quality looks, particularly in the first half. Unfortunately, a few times the looks were good, shots clanked. Consistent shooting seems to be the issue this year. Luckily late in the 4th they were able to get a run together and open up a lead. In any event, the Flyers gutted this one out for the W
BTW, anyone catch what Shauna said/did to get T'd? I must've been looking elsewhere when that happened.

I was watching Shauna the whole time. She was just kind of talking to herself and had a bit of a derisive smile on her face regarding a disagreement on a call. It was one of the softest T's I have ever seen. The ref called it from across the floor. Shauna and Rizzotti both looked at each other like WTF?
I think the ref was Ashley Gilpin who had the rabbit ears and called the T. The other 2 refs - Teresa Stuck and Charlie Hurst - seemed embarrassed by the call.

With 5 "guaranteed" games left Scaife is only 76 points away from 1000.

Coach Green was pretty fiesty the entire game -- she was really working the refs early (and they really needed working!!).
I believe she had been issued a "warning" by the same ref prior to the technical foul.

Regarding the T, I was too high to see what was going on, but it did seem she got a warning earlier, because the 1 on court ref pointed that way talking to the ref at the scoring table after having a talk with Coach.
I thought Fowler had the John Crosby disease people talk about where you drive to the lane and then have no bail out opportunities. Also, the amount of softball underhanded shots that the team took was a bit much in my opinion. You can't do much when you are shooting from your hip instead of up from your shoulder.
Seemed like GW was always moving during their sets, but UD would keep 2 people in the corners most of the time. Seemed like lack of movement alot.

I suspect Shauna deserves about every T she gets and several more. She is not subdued by any means. Coaches build to T's based on what is said earlier.

We only had 8 turnovers for the game - second lowest of the season. I thought Bradshaw had one of her best games - if not the best. 5 assists and zero turnovers and a perfect 2-2 from the field. Ward seems to be getting up and down the floor a bit better. Still, make no mistake, it is Scaife from anywhere except the foul line and Cannatelli from trey and the foul line - and then everyone else.
