Miles is 5-9 with 6 rebounds and 15 points. I am guessing most of those were against Pierre.

I have zero faith in this team being able to win this game in the second half.
St. Joe's is like our kryptonite. They are a better team than us at this point, let's face it. I don't understand why St. Joe's isn't more successful in the tournament.
I hope Bembry goes pro.

There's a world of difference between sense of urgency and desperation.
So far the Flyers appear desperate. If the mindset isn't adjusted, we'll be dancing on eggs next week.

I think UD started urgent and eventually became mighty desperate. At the start they were running an offense and being strong defensively. Once SJU started punching us in our mouths, you could tell offensively we became very desperate: forced shots, yips on layups, etc.

I think Tony Crisp is one of the offenders. And trust me - if I know their names, in this day & age, it's generally because they sucked badly enough in previous games that I wanted to find out who they were.

Maybe Pierre will try guarding Miles this half... guess not, as he nails an open three. Then Cooke is 10 feet off of his guy.

You may as well keep pollard in until he fouls out- he does no good on the bench. Officiating is beyond skewed- absolutely one sided.

Message is be confident at half, so you come out, turn the ball over twice and give up two easy threes.
Nice.
We need to play a team in the NCAAs that is a good matchup for us, or it will be a carbon copy.

Archie's team is always un-prepared against Saint Joes. That's a fact jack. If you think this team is likely to make a deep NCAA run, forget about it.

Just said Flagrant 1. And, of course, Gottleib is apologizing for Bembry, saying Cooke threw him to the floor, so his frustration was justified.
Complete. Tool.

Guys it's OK to intentionally trip a guy if you were angry about something. It's also OK to steal a guy's credit cards if you're an athlete. It's OK!

These refs are a complete joke. They are letting both teams just assault each other.

Like last game, Miller and Martelli are in a chess game with this one precipitated by Pierre's struggles. McElvene's giving UD something on both ends until Martelli brings in #12: he can go outside and he's too quick for McElvene.

That TO was very untimely. Momentum killer.
We need to play lock down defense the rest of the way.

Holy Hell, Gottleib, it's not the Zapruder film: how hard is it to see a finger poke (accidental though it might be)?

Once again, apologizing for Bembry. Granted, it was inadvertent, but Gottforsaken is still a tool.

Pierre loses the 50/50 ball to Ndao. That was a statement by Pierre and Ndao.

Yeah, why do you cover the cutter and leave the shooter wide open? Someone obviously got lost on a switch.

Pierre hits big 3 and follows with big rebound ending in a missed layup. Down 6- let's go defense. Hawks are tired

Players are responsible for their own actions, but with the amount of physical play being allowed - especially away from the ball on rebounds - I'll be surprised if we've seen our last flagrant foul.
