From gametracker - at times we had 5 and maybe even 6 frosh on the field at one time. That is most encouraging. We dominated in OT - outshooting WMU 3-0.

Only two games but either we are slow out the gate getting pushed around a lot or we are just in better shape as we seem to be a step ahead in the 2nd half especially last 15 min or so of the game.
It also appears coach has instilled a different culture to his team. Colleen Williams said on several occasions few years back too many of her teammates worked their butt off in high school and we're just happy to have a ship. Coasting in college. Seems this team is balls to the wall, which is why well be seeing more underclassmen playing. Just my .02

That OT push kinda makes me feel UD is in better shape than our first two opponents, especially late in game.

Two matches we could have just as easily lost. Last year we usually did. Lets not get TOO far ahead of ourselves as JMU and W&M are unlikely to reach the postseason, but two wins away from home is a great start. I was crossing fingers for 1-1-0 or 0-0-2. In order to start winning, you gotta first stop losing. We took a step in the right direction this weekend by winning winnable matches.
I think W&M stands the best chance for a good season however. They beat Wake Forest in the preseason and Wake was 11-6-4 and made 2nd Rd of the NCAAs. They also beat George Mason 3-1. So losing to Maryland and UD this weekend to start 0-2-0 is not a great start for them but they can bounce back. JMU beat Maryland 3-0 today - Maryland was undefeated in the non-con last year and then tanked in ACC play. Maryland did beat W&M this weekend.
As the dramatic endings revealed, our margins are still very thin. And Louisville is up next. They beat Wright State recently 8-1, outshooting them 24-3 including 14-1 in corner kicks. When we scrimmaged WSU last week we were the better team but only perhaps by a goal or two.
Just stay focused in practice on getting better.

Louisville beat Xavier 2-1 tonight - scoring the game winner with 8 seconds left in the first OT. The Cardinals are dangerous but Xavier was very competitive and marked Louisville tightly with good upfield pressure. We must do the same to have a chance.
