Huge fan of Second Half Sedric. He was great to watch and a great representative of the university and his hometown. Glad to see he’s been living the dream.

No doubt Oakwood profiled in the 70/80’s. My guess is it still happens to this day but certainly not as overtly as it once was.
And, while not attempting to minimize the racism of that day, growing up North of town in the late 70’s with a beat up car, my friends and I got stopped a couple times in Oakwood ourselves. We learned to just avoid Main St. if we were heading south.

I heard something similar from somebody when I was in high school. They got a ticket for going 21 in a 20 mph school zone in Oakwood.
There are certain areas that I have learned to not mess with, just go the speed limit.

Speeding
I saw a video today about speeding tickets in Finland. They fine you based on % of income. The video showed a corporate executive had to pay 116k euros for going 46 in a 35. So I guess if you are unemployed you can drive your Lamborghini 200 mph in a school zone for free.
