Don't look for a competitive game since Cincinnati defeated the Oilers 77-35 last night.

I wonder what former Dayton commit Sam Breen who pulled her commitment and ended up at Penn State because she was only 99% sold on UD is thinking about now. Perhaps Dayton come out ahead on this one.

Amateur hour on the broadcast - sending both radio and video simultaneously.
Burdet look more fit.

You are being generous calling it "amateur hour". I can't imagine who the director is who thinks half of the game should be shot with behind-the-basket cameras. Unbelievable!!! And the replays after every basket ensures that you never see the next possession by the other team. Also, how are you suppose to know the score and time left? Year after year UD puts out pathetic streaming video.

49-28 half. Dennis looks much improved. Parkinson continues to disappoint, likely we need her to spell foul prone Harris. Harris is a beast inside. Phillips looks like a bigger ball hog than Celeste Edwards was if that's even possible. Scaife still shoots too many low percentage shots and does not make ft's. Lauren looks a bit more comfortable driving and remains a 3pt threat. Wilmouth started out well then disappeared.

Clicked the "live stats " button from Daytonflyers.com story page for the game. Takes you to the GW game March 3,2018!!! Maybe these continued glitches are because it's being run by students in sports marketing class. Hope the get a deserved F!

Just saw box score (2:38 PM PST)
Does anyone know the status of the following -
Jenna Giacone - still hurt or recovering?
Brittany Ward and Julia Chandler - not eligible until later this year or next season?
Thanks in advance

There were 5 players in sweats. Jenna must still be recovering. Brittany is eligible at the end of this semester (and Green hopes to have her the next 2 years also). Chandler is not eligible until next season.

One thing that I really liked from this game is that the team looked comfortable with each other right from the get-go. In the last couple of seasons, it seemed like there was a period of a few games where some rotations just didn't click. While some were better than others, I didn't see any big disconnects today.
There are a few things to be fixed, to be sure, but chemistry on the court doesn't seem to be one of them. I think that bodes very well for the season.
