St Joe getting killed by back cuts. I don't recall Davidson having much success with those vs UD

We will see how the broadcasting goes during the UD game. My preliminary opinion is NBCSN is trying too hard to compliment everything A10. Maybe that’s what you have to do to win broadcast rights these days, but it gets old fast. It’s worse than listening to “homers”.
Also noted yesterday the studio guy on the right (sorry I have no idea who he is) but twice yesterday he was asked about who could win it all. Zero mention of UD. I don’t think he was dishing Dayton. I just think he hadn’t done his homework. First time he only mentioned VCU and the teams that played yesterday. Second time he added Davidson, no clue UD was seeded 3rd.
Today, not a lot of UD talk either. Lots of SLU talk because they saw them play yesterday. The game announcers for StB and Dav finally mentioned Obi, but the general audience would have thought SLUs French set the dunk record at 80.
And then throw in the Network appears to be thrilled the A10 “is now” a 2-bid conference. The conference is down this year...just say it and then talk about how many teams are playing freshmen and sophomores. Do your homework and tell the real story. At least they reported on the GW firing at half time.
Jury still out, but Network is playing from behind in my opinion.

Maybe they were hypnotized by Martelli’s outfit. I’m getting a headache looking at the pinstriped shirt with the gaudy, diagonally-striped tie.

You’re right, but I don’t mind it too much. The Big East has FS1, the Big Ten has their own network, SEC has their own network, the ACC has ESPN, etc. The A 10 needs a little love.

Didn't Bonnies get the memo? They aren't supposed to win two games in two days basically playing only five guys. Today their starters played all but 6 minutes and yesterday they played all but 17. My guess is tomorrow they will pay most of the minutes too.

If Tramaine Isabell Jr. for the Billikens doesn't get MVP of the A-10 conference tournament there needs to be an investigation. While playing almost 40 minutes in each of their three games he has 60 points, 19 assists and only 10 turnovers!
My hope is that we can get some significant contributions next season from our transfers. If reports of their progress are true we could see one or possibly two starters replaced. At the very least there is going to be some serious competition going on in pre-season practices!
If there is a transfer and we can possibly recruit Sean Mc Neal to have an additional three point shooting threat that would be great!

I don't understand how all of these players can play so many minutes each game. I've read on here over and over that we lost games this year because our guys play too many minutes. Although I also read we lost to SLU because we had six days off.

Amazing how much on court success the Bonnies manage in games that really count. Little support....little media focus....yet they just continue with guts and grit....and a great coach. I think this would be Schmidt's third or 4th NCAA tourney....if they hold the lead.

Total collapse by Bonnie’s in second half even though SLU tried to give it to them by missing FT after FT. Maybe a CIT bid for them.

And SLU did it playing 7 guys , one of which played 12 and another 15. But our year according to some came down to losing Metos and his 8 career baskets.
