St. Joe's/Temple Tonight on ESPN2

Temple at St. Joe's on ESPN2 at 7:00 pm EST tonight.

Should be a good game. Who do we want to win this one?

Go Flyers!

With the goal being the A-10 title . . .

. . . we should root for Temple - St Joe's is ahead of us in the standings and we have the tie-breaker over them. The Flyers then need to beat Temple to also hold the tie-breaker over them.

I will be watching and rooting for Temple. If the Owls win there is a real log jam at the top of the standing........with us in first place by the tie breaker. Temple would be right behind. We have to play well against Richmond Saturday. Well, we have to play well and WIN in our remaining games period!

Temple up 11 with 10:38 to go. Do we really want Temple to win? Won't that just clog up the standings? Remember 4th is as good as 1st in the A10 tournament. Maybe best for St. Joe's to win and put a little space between UD/X/St.J and the rest of the league.

It's probably too early to really be worrying about this, but if Temple wins tonight our destiny is in our own hands to win the A-10.

Hubert Davis made the comment that he thinks the A-10 will definitely get three teams in and possibly four. I think he has lost his mind BUT it's nice to get too much credit than not enough for a change.

Temple making this interesting! Up 11 with under 1 minute to play, ST. Joe's is going to line down 4 with 12.4 left!

Make that Temple up 2 with 9.2 to go and Temple goes to the line for two.

Fernandez, from Temple, makes one of two. Temple up 3........9.2 to go. Time out. Here we go again. Temple has to foul and put St. Joe's on the line. St. Joe's goes to the line for a 1-1 with 6.2 left. St. Joe's hits both.

Fernandez from Temple hits one of two. Owls up 2 with 4.7 left. St. Joe's launches from half court......it's no good. Temple wins and guess who is in first place?

Ok, I'll bite. What is the story with the green guy. He was at UD last night and he was at the St Joe's/Temple game tonight.

Same guy? Just the same weird green full body suit? Aliens?

Aliens.

It's from the show It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. It's on FX and one of the characters sometimes dresses up as greenman.

You know watching the last minute of the Temple/St. Joe's game made me wonder why _avier didn't foul the last two minutes of the game last night. It was 68-58 with 2:30 to go. I love London, but wouldn't you think _avier would try "Hack a London" give his struggles at the free throw line? I wonder what BG will do in the last minutes of tight games down the stretch. RL was usually in there (on the offensive side of things). Will ST rotate with London?

Temple did everything they could to hand this game to the Lunardis, but somehow managed to survive, putting the good guys in 1st place by way of the tiebreaker.

I agree. I was rooting for St Joe's. That would have put more space between us and Temple. Of course I would like us to win the regular season, but it really doesn't matter if we finish first, second, or third. A loss by Temple would have put a lot of space between us and Temple, and would have kept us well ahead of them even if they would happen to beat us (which they won't - but, just in case).
