Simply put we couldn't keep up under the pressure we really did, we were up 9 and never recovered after they made their run, terrible play on both sides of the ball, deflating way to end a great season but atleast it wasn't a blow out

We needed Scoochie to penetrate like that the entire game. Maybe he didn't have enough gas left. Next year we have a true point guard coming in to spell him.

I disagree. We were up 9 with like 10 minutes left after we made 3 straight 3's. A lot of ball to be played still. The offensive drought was brutal because of unforced errors, but that happens all year long. I don't see how you call this a choke. Fatigue maybe, but not a choke.

The only chokers are those using the word after what this team has done. Some of the so-called fans on this board just don't deserve this team.

OK just had too many good athletes, and unlike some of the players we have seen, they could actually make shots. Flyers did everything they could but just couldn't finish.

Scoring droughts are indeed frustrating. But with just seven players, it's hard to reload during the course of the game. I think we ran out of gas to the point we couldn't defend well.

Most painful part of this tourney is getting Gottlieb X 3. He's a non-entity in my book. I don't even care what he says. It does frustrate me sometimes, but he's a Tier 4 commentator.

Despite my feelings in game and bad choice of words (I am a firey guy that hates loosing like anyone else just used a wrong word to express it so people calm down haha) I am so proud of what these flyers have done and they have brought me so much joy this season. What a stretch and what a year. Can't wait for the November! GO FLYERS

OMG, the OU player they interviewed at the end of the game talked with a lisp and seemed like he had an IQ lower than 70. Good season, sad to lose to a team that like that. How did we throw away that 9 pt lead in the second half.

Game was there for the taking, just had that turnover stretch and went ice cold.
Oh well, great season, they achieved alot with seven players. Much returning talent, along with some good newcomers to build on next year. We are going to be REALLY GOOD.
Thanks, Jordan for coming to Dayton. You were a big part of UD basketball turning the corner. You will be sorely missed.

I wouldn't worry about things said in the heat of the moment on here. I think we all feel like that was a game that we could have won, but it just wasn't to be tonight. We were 10-16 from 3 at one point. 63% from 3 covers up a lot of sins, but can't be depended on.
We need to take care of Archie as Job 1. I thought we did that last year. He's about the hottest commodity in coaching right now as far as guys that others think is "gettable". I'd like to see Archie pick up the Donoher legacy and take us to the next level.

And in the court side interview, Kruger was pretty much all class. Hate to lose, but when the winners have some class, I don't mind it quite so much. Oh, well, thanks, Jordan, for a couple great seasons. To everyone else: thanks for a great ride, and we'll see you in October.

You're coming off like a poor loser. No need to bash the other teams on camera public speaking. Not everyone comes off well in interviews.
We lost to a good team, no need to take cheap shots.

More than good athletes, they had too many good players. They could make shots, get in the passing lanes, and play defense without fouling as much as most teams we played. We played well. They played better.

No, we didn't lose a couple studs, but we lost height and we lost depth not to mention Scott wasn't exactly a non-contributor.
And the question he asked was "who would've thought?" Can you honestly say you did?

That was a really good disciplined team we ran into tonight. Kruger is a great coach. And agree, say what you will about that guy they interviewed but he's a hell of a player and absolutely was a big part of OU victory. Quit bashing that kid and that team Flyer faithful they deserved the win- our guys finally ran out gas- hell I hope OU takes out UK...

We need to take care of Archie as Job 1. I thought we did that last year. He's about the hottest commodity in coaching right now as far as guys that others think is "gettable". I'd like to see Archie pick up the Donoher legacy and take us to the next level.

Two things, reaction in the heat of the moment does reflect on the character of a person, and I submit that we may have reached the "next Level", time will tell

I saw the interview and this is correct. A person that talks with a lisp also talks slow. This kid was talking very fast -- probably a combination of how they talk back home and being pumped up after a big victory.
I think OU will probably help him with his interview skills in the off-season because he is a great player and will be interviewed many time during his career there. He certainly would not be the first athlete that can/has benefit(ed) from some interview training.
