Not a big problem. She's not had a great year. Underwhelming and well under what we expected based on her performance at Syracuse.

Weaver has been playing very well once she got over her injury. It wasn’t just a bruised knee. Maddog - she was a recent A10 Player of the Week. We will need her playing well to have our best chance in the tourney(s).

TO Rhode Island, UD up 12-7. Doherty is doing all 6 rotations.

As for Weaver, last week she acted like a floor general during points. I enjoyed watching her play.

UD had 5 attack errors against Rhode Island ... previous game where they had 5 or fewer errors was Sep 5, 2015 against Tennessee Martin. (18, 12, and 6)

Let's hope nothing serious, just a precaution since we would not need her for RI.

By far the best match I've seen them play this year. Funny, the girls all seemed loose and happy pregame and maybe it carried over to their play. Amber was amazing, Bruns is playing at an all-conference level like she has all year (if she doesn't make it, it's a crime), Jane set great her only set, Jess hit it harder and more consistent than any time since last year's A10 championship game, Maggie served URI so tough, and Bridget made great strides in setting the middles (her only 'developmental area' from my perspective).

If this team plays this well going forward, they're going to make some noise. This was not the same team that played VCU, and it's not because URI isn't VCU. Very encouraging. Next test - Fordham.

How many times over the years have we all hoped the team would peak at the end of the year and play their best in the tournaments. After all that's gone on this year, it would be great to see this team actually peak and play great the rest of the way. Go Flyers!
