Love to see a guard with some size. We must get bigger at guard to move to the next level. Hopefully she has some foot speed.

You can play noncontact varsity High School sports at any age in Kentucky. JB Holmes on the PGA tour played varsity golf as either a second or third grader.
Contact sports like football and wrestling have age/grade limits. Basketball and soccer may have limits at 6th or 7th grade. What is allowed depends on the high school. My daughter has played softball since 7th grade. Some schools inour area permit 5th graders to play varsity. My sons high school does not permit anyone below freshman to play any sport, varsity JV or freshman level.

Yes, remember OJ Mayo, who was a stud on his KY varsity team in 7th and 8th grade. Of course he then transferred to WV.
There was also a female who won the state golf title prior to high school.

Randy Moss' daughter is a senior at a Northern Ky high school. Think she's heading to UK. She's played varsity hoops since 6th grade IIRC.
