I wish he would do it but I highly doubt it based on past history.
What I don't understand is his constant preaching to try to get his team to play faster(Sideline reporter even mentioned that he was begging them to play faster in a timeout), but his unwillingness to do anything to speed up the game until the last moment possible. He doesn't need to press and trap for the whole game, but at least try to do something to speed up the other team and give them another look to get them out of their half court rhythm.
Now UD may comeback and win without pressing and this post will look stupid, but I just don't get why he is so against any change of defensive strategy.

Fran Fraschilla has been saying all week if you want to beat the number one seed in a tourney play them in the early slot of the day because they'll still be sleepwalking...Sound familiar?!?!?

Up to them to make a big decision - how many more games do they want this year? Miss this and probably go in as a 8 or 9. If they win the first, we them slam into a #1. Good odds of watching most of the tourney from Dayton, with us!

We lose this and you're looking at a 10 seed which in my view is as good as a 7.

Shooting 32% with one offensive rebound is a disaster that we are seeing. Hate to say it but Kyle is giving us zero offense and needs to sit for DD. In a half court game Kyle is nothing but a passer on offense. Start DD this half and let him warm up his shooting.

This reminds me so much of how we ended last year. Were way behind to Duquesne, had to come back to win. Got behind 10 in the first 5 minutes to Bonaventure and lost at home. Freaking SLU was beating us 12-4 in the game where they took us to OT on the road. Syracuse just blitzed us the whole game in the tournament, because we couldn't finish near the rim or hit any shots.
Now we are repeating the pattern. Seen it against Davidson and St. Bonaventure, both games we were fortunate to come back to win. GW, we weren't. At some point, you have to learn from your mistakes, but as good as we are, sometimes teams come out and punch us in the mouth, and we have nothing for them.
I would hate to remember the seniors this way. They need to show us all something in the second half.

Gibbs is completely losing it.
And now McKillop is losing it.
What is going on?
Reviewing if Gibbs got hit by Kendall.
Looks like Gibbs flopped. Got hit in neck while KP was fighting through screen

Davidson has it back up to 8. 9:37 left.
They have 5 second chance points to extend it. Will UD have enough gas with 7 guys to pull this out.

Pollard had Xman wide open and gets blocked. Completely selfish.

Pollard: Dump it off! And then Scoochie catches a break with that horrible one-hand pass that I despise!

Davidson is winded. We need to take advantage of that competition no out of the timeout. If to not there you pull back out, but we need to push it to get on a run and take the lead. We haven't led since 2-0. It's go time. It's Scoochie time.

We are winning the stats except free throws. They are 8-8, we are 5-10

That should have been as easy pass to make, too: Williams was perfectly spaced.

We have had too many poor offensive possessions...taking low-percentage shots.

Darrell just got nailed by a screen again. And just like last game nobody told him.

Xman shoots a 3 and poses. SMH.
Could have got the rebound if he didn't pose.

One of the biggest plays might be Cooke backing off to challenge that lay up. It could have been his 5th foul. Then he hits the 3. Dayton leads

Scoochie with the penetration and kick-out...masterful play. Scoochie is dialed in at crunch time.
