Okay AG put Kostas back in. He's sitting there ready to play and every minute he plays the better he will be.

99.6% win probability up 70-54 with 3:29 left.
Josh with 19 points and 16 rebounds ...
Amazes me Dayton or like team would lose this game 4/1000 times ...

If the defense improves, and it needs to improve, we are going to be pretty good. Offensively, we have good players at every position with good players off the bench.
I wonder if the defense is coming along relatively slowly because we are playing both man and zone and there’s more for the players to learn than on Archie’s teams.

I was about to say the same thing. He needs to play within himself and find his shot in practice, not crunch time (I say that knowing the pressure he feels)/.
X-Man has had some great minutes this year.

AG putting all the walkons in is great. The former coach would never do that.

Josh with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
Can you imagine if he was healthy last year and Dayton had Big Steve (RIP). Seriously, Archie set the table for a Sweet 16/Elite 8 run last year.

Think it's safe to say the Jordan Pierce is going to red shirt.

Crutcher finishes with 8 assists and no turnovers. Too much hotdog in his dribbling though. He will get schooled by A10 guards if he doesn't tighten up his game a bit.
He's a keeper though.

I thought he played a great floor game. All the freshman impressed - you can see the potential. Cunningham was a man tonight

Only if no injury disaster strikes Josh or Kostas. Right now Jordan represents cheap insurance in case we lose a center. But I don't look for any clean up minutes from him if there are no injuries.

AM was maybe a jerk to his freshman which caused him to be stingy to his walkons. It's obvious that AG is going to depend on all his freshman more than AM did. If you're inconsistent with the minutes you give to your scholarship players, you really can't justify giving the walk-ons those garbage minutes when you've got scholarship players not getting much playing time.
Not saying it was right to not depend or be consistent with the use of freshmen, but it would be more wrong to not give them the garbage minutes over walkons if they hadn't been playing much to begin with. Crutcher, J Davis and Kostas all are getting their minutes, as mentioned earlier, Pierce is most likely being tentatively redshirted. Justifies giving the walkons their glory.

Kostas led the team with +15.
But, except for Crosby (+3) and Svoboda (0), the other 4 were +12 (Crutcher) or +13 (Davis x 2, Cunningham).
