Five Names You Need to Know

WEST BLOOMFIELD (MI) – “FTS” has returned from a long summers nap and a bunch of repeat columns to crank out some fresh content and to clean out the “saved” file on my bookmarks list. With the Labor Day weekend right around the corner, it won’t be long until hoops season is upon us!

Let’s get down to it:

-- In terms of 2018 recruiting, here are the five names you need to know:

Dwayne Cohill

The senior from Cleveland Holy Name HS is the #1 target on AG’s radar screen. A do-it-all PG, Cohill will take an official visit to UD on September 15th, a week before he checks out tOSU and prior to trips to Vandy and VA Tech:

Anthony Nelson

Nelson is slated to visit UD a week after Cohill. Theoretically, AG could sign both Nelson and Cohill with the uncertainty surrounding the return of Sam Miller:

Jared Rhoden

Rhoden is Nelson’s AAU teammate and is supposedly visiting UD along with Anthony. Once again, AG could theoretically take both guys, should Cohill not commit:

Jack Clark

Clark is a Philly area guard who has narrowed his list to five and included Dayton on it:

Taylor Horton-Tucker

Tucker is from Chicago Simeon, the same HS as Kendall Pollard. He’s narrowed his list to 13 and the Flyers are on it:

On his Twitter feed you can see that KP told him to cut SLU and save himself some trouble.

Here is a rundown by David Jablonski on UD’s 2019 recruiting targets:

Here is Rivals.com Top 150 for 2019:

A couple of names you can forget:

Justin Ahrens

The 2018 SF from Versailles narrowed his list down to UM, tOSU and X.

Jeremiah Francis

A 2019 prospect, he committed to UNC.
