Didn't come to play today. Taking a page from the men. Cannatelli and Scaife can't score when they are guarded.

Have to pick up the tempo and start playing D, or its a long ride home.

Nice comeback for Dayton. Tied at 29 at half-time.

Picked it up on D. Stopped penetration in the post and cooled them on the perimeter. Cannatelli still getting her pocket picked, Scaife not hitting her shots. Post play subpar but still tied at the half.

Need energy to start the second half. Our passing is suspect, they are quicker to the ball than we are.

Nice to see Wilmuth back on the court and hitting two treys. Need to get Burdette, Cannatelli and Scaife going in second half. Only 6 turnovers and 6 fouls.

Don't know I'd call St. Joes an inferior team, they have always been a tough game for the flyers.

Saint Joseph's was picked to finish third in preseason poll (with three first place votes).

Chelsea Woods played like the preseason first team all conference selection that she was.

Adashia Franklyn was on the preseason second team all conference (Dayton had none) and she was also on the preseason all defensive team (as was Dayton's Alex Harris).

Hopefully with Wilmoth back in the rotation Dayton's play can become more consistent.

They lost to Towson, and Drexel. Got murdered by Nova and others. We were out worked. Only won by having much better skills, despite lack of effort.

Whatever, all that really matters is A-10 play and both were 2-0 going into todays game.

If you recall Maddog UD got killed by Toledo 18 points, Greenbay by 11 points. So if you are going to report the negatives of SJ also be fair and point out the negs of Dayton.

St Joe's was picked 3rd in A10. They had played some games without #30, who played today. Last year they took us to OT.They always play well against us .
Jenna scored 14 points in the 4th. She had no TO's. Javonna contributed as always 14 and 9. Showed a lot of poise an determination to come back on the road, led by experienced seniors

Saint Joseph's did lose seven games in a row and that will never pass the smell test but we all know conference play is a new season and Dayton had to beat the Hawks regardless of their record and they did -- warts and all.
