Charlotte a go-go/STL new coach

So word comes that Charlotte will leave the A-10 after next year primarily for football purposes. Temple leaving weakens the conference in women's basketball and this moves weakens it even further. Even though UD thrashed the 49ers last year during "Math Day", Charlotte has a very consistent WNIT program that I can't see being equaled if say a George Mason or VCU migrate from the C-A-A. Sad day for UD in terms of competition in the A-10.
One other note, appears St. Louis has made a good choice in its basketball coach - Lisa Stone formerly at Wisconsin was very successful - not really sure why she was let go. Anything is an improvement over her predecessor and I don't mean a personal knock against Shimmy Gray-Miller, but she had plenty of time to improve that program and it never happened.

While losing Temple hurts from a competitive standpoint, perhaps it opens the door for UD to firmly take control of the league. I think we can spin it into a positive if we're ready and willing.

We just need to continually schedule tough non league opponents and actually beat them.....

Can't control the rest of the league.
