Man as good as the first half was, the second half was a dumpster fire. This really should have been a 4-1 or 5-1 win and it almost ended up a 2-1 loss. We needed a gift PK and a botched goalkeeping error for our only two scores of the night.
Yaiza and Jess were tough all night and brought the heat. We need more midfield playmakers that can help YNL out though. And Sheldon should have 10 assists on the season by now with her crosses -- shes putting goals in silver platters for her teammates and they are not rewarding her for her service.
But...we did win. And it was a big win for A10 standings. Better to win ugly than lose pretty. But, for the first 45 minutes we looked really strong in this one. A tale of two halfs.
