I was not able to watch, but a few things stood out. We shot 50% from two, which is great for us, but only a woeful 5-24 on threes. 19 offensive rebounds is dominant. Although LaSalle scored 70, we held them to 31% shooting and 9-38 on threes.

Not many times you'll see three players with double-digit rebounds either.

We were clearly the better team, but got in trouble with mental lapses that kept this a 10pt game for probably too long. I bet we surrendered a half dozen And-1s to LaSalle on the softest wimpy fouls imaginable. We never got our money's worth on any of them. A couple may not have even been fouls, but if you're going to contest the shot or even be in the neighborhood, get your pound of flesh!

In transition, we often took rushed shots when the numbers were clearly not there -- 1 on 3, 2 on 4, etc. When you are clearly superior you dont need to take those kinds of risks. Get everybody back on offense and beat them on execution.

Bradshaw was the key today. Her defense was very good and she got in a lot of passing lanes. Offensively she got the ball to where it needed to go. And she picked up a ton of loose ball rebounds around the paint which she's always done. She didnt score much and wasn't perfect but we were at our best when the ball was facilitated through her.

Giacone did enough and Whalen got us going early then cooled off. Whitehead and Magassa were consistent on the glass.

We didnt shoot FTs well or shoot the 3 well. We can play a lot better. In defense of LaSalle I thought they played about as well as their talent allows. They hit some tough threes to keep it close, nailed almost all of their FTs, got us to foul on those And-1s, and banked in a three at the halftime buzzer.
