This Presbyterian game is one of the craziest I have ever seen. The Presbyterian offense is very explosive, basically no punts, onside kicks, and go for two after every touchdown! Crazy. After falling behind 23-0 in the first quarter UD has stormed back with 35 unanswered points, including two safeties, to take the lead at half 35-23!

63-43 final. I have never seen an offense like Presbyterian's! They can score from anywhere on the field. Crazy formations and crazy plays. They can drive the defense nuts! Now, if they can develop a defense. However, due to not punting deep in their own territory they turn the ball over to the opponent with good field position. That and going with an onside kick many times and not successful at doing so hurts the defense. Obviously their coach is of the philosophy we will just out score you.

It is exciting when it works -- like the first quarter -- and cringeworthy when it doesn't -- like the other three quarters.

Their defense was "good enough" to win this game but the coaching staff's silly philosophy handcuffed them the ENTIRE game. Those young men on Presbyterian deserved better than that.

What Presbyterian did defied all logic. Fun for their fans at times, but mostly maddening. They have some talent and offensive firepower, but giving Dayton good field position time and again was just bad football. I can’t imagine that kind of coaching philosophy is conducive to a long career.

Agree, one of, if not the crazyist game I'v seen. That kid from PC can throw the ball. Also agree that the weird offensive scheme hurt the Blue Hose more than it helped. That goal line stand from one foot(maybe two)out was outstanding. First game that although we had a 20 point lead with 8 to go my comfort level wasn't high. Looked like we were going to get hammered at first. Adjustments were made and Flyer offense was impressive.

This is simply the football equivalent of Loyola Marymount with Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble.

Didn't realize that PC only has an enrollment of 900 and something. Most high schools are bigger than that. Hard to believe they can field a team of a hundred football players out of 900 total students.

And they also compete at the D1 level in basketball. Not to mention the other sports they have.

That was one of the most exciting games to watch. We really made some adjustments and took it to them offensively. 106 points scored...love it. Just glad we were on the higher end of it.

I was a the game and PU has to have a gimmicky offense (no punts, on-side kicks, etc...) because their defense was worse than horrible.

Maybe but at least give your defense a CHANCE -- giving the other team the ball on your side of the 50 every single time isn't a winning strategy.

Agree, and going for it on 4th down from your 25 yd line multiple times doesn't help either. Having said that it sure was interesting watching them. Never knew what would happen. They averaged something like 74 points a game in their first two games, but gave up 72 and 63 in their next two.

Just my opinion...but they win more PFL games than they lose.
