Duquesne New Athletics Design
My first impression is lukewarm, but give them credit. They should boost A-10's profile.

It's funny, I saw this on Twitter last night. The responses read just like when the Flyers changed the logo. I'll show this to my wife. She still doesn't like the "new" Flyer logo. Maybe in comparison she will change her mind. I like ours because of the wing on the D is tied into Flyers. The Duquesne D has no connection. At least it doesn't look like the Detroit Tigers D any more.

Interesting. Reminds me a lot of what we did actually. Those Home basketball uniforms are fantastic. The rest mas o menos.

I think it would look better if it was a little wider.

When UD has just a D for a logo, it seems silly to complain when they are called Dayton and not University of Dayton.

This would have been 1000x better if they added a U and made it UD for us instead of what we got.
U and D sharing the middle line. And those uniforms look better than ours. We must have got the odd lots version

I think it looks pretty good, not bad at all. It's different, it's unique.
At least it's not a basic block letter "D" with a little swish on it to "give it the appearance of movement". 30 logos all look basically the same just a different color combination and UD said "hey let's make it 31, that's a prime number."

I didn't think was anything wrong with their old logo. This isn't horrible but I think it has a limited shelf life.

I really like the basketball uniforms, they look sharp and have several variations.

I don't like their new D design, looks sort of cartoonist to me, like The Adventures of Duquesne Man or something. That doesn't even really look like a D IMO. The DUQ design looks good though. I thought their old logo was good, I would have stuck with that.

I don't mind it.
I'm not crazy about the "Range" design.
Maybe it's just the angle of the picture, but the logo on the football helmet seems to curve/twist into looking like a fancy O.
The uniforms do look sharp.

Dayton's rebranding
After all the initial fuss I like our new "D" and the rebranding,
The men's BB uniforms are poorly designed, in my opinion. All it would take for a major improvement is a fine white outline around the word Dayton. Red on blue pr blue on red offers so little contrast the word can barely be read. When Ole Miss played at UD a few years ago their unis were identical to our except they had such an outline...what a difference!
Such a simple thing.

Dr Dan's son Aiden -- pretty sure he was (an intern?) on the Nike design team for our latest 2014 identity change.

I'm impressed by how thoroughly they describe and illustrate the concept/thinking/meaning behind the new logo and all the design options and color combinations. A much more impressive rollout than the new Flyer logo received a few years ago.

I like the change it looks sleek and modern. I'm sure Dave Harper learned from watching others roll out new logos.

What do you mean, they thoroughly explained our logo. "We added a swoosh. it looks like it's in motion now." Done.
