BEVERLY HILLS (MI) – The “Not-So-Secret Scrimmage” with Marquette is set to happen this weekend on Saturday in Indy. The one and only exhibition game vs. Findlay takes place the following Friday evening. A mere week after that, the regular season gets underway for the 2016-17 University of Dayton Flyers as they will host Austin Peay at UD Arena. And just like that --
poof! -- we are off to the races.
The anticipation of what could be an exceptional campaign has the
Flyer Faithful ready to rock. The Findlay exhibition game is supposedly approaching a sell-out. Let’s hope that primo recruiting target Darryl Morsell will decide to take his official visit to UD after all so he can witness what a Flyer home game is all about.
