Pretty loose second set. As noted- had to come from down 4-10.
The video is a static end line view. Can really see how slow our block is.

Timeout NIU. 9-2 Flyers third set. NIU is not very good(1-11). Has to be really frustrating for the Huskies - they were so good last year (25-6).

Nice comebacks in the 2nd, and nice easy wins in the 1st and 3rd.
Did Northern Illinois try to slow down our middles? Because Bruns had a career high of 23 kills. The way Amber filled the stat sheet last weekend with everything except errors, they had to take notice, right?

Wish I could answer that but still just a fan and novice. You'd Think following the ladies since 2000 I'd have learned something. I just watch and root.
Seeing the game from the endzone you get a different feel for sure.

We aren't a great blocking team right now. I'm sure it's being worked on. It was good to see Kendyll get 3 this match. Amber only had 1 but is our best blocker right now. We need both our middles averaging over 1 Per set. All our OHs swing from both sides, so if we could get one of each of our OHs at .50+, .60+, and one at .70+ and Jane at .60+ we would be a solid blocking team ready to compete the first weekend of the NCAAs.
I didn't see the match, but will be watching tonight. I really like watching vball and hockey from the end zones. You see the plays coming at you. It's a great way to see a lot of the finer points of the game like ud69 said, you can see our block and if we closed the block or not. Lately we have been late to the block.

In a mild upset- WKU (RV) sweeps tosu (#25) - 17-20-16
We will need to bring our "A" game to beat either of these teams. Face WKU at 5:30 today.

Not sure we can even take a set from either WKU or OSU based on how we have played so far this yr. We haven't beaten anyone better than us yet or come close to it, unless we count High Point. A feel-good W would go a long way for this squad.

So I guess were saying our string of goose eggs is over.
We do have one advantage, they will be more tired than us, having just played tOSU few hours earlier.
