St Louis Game
Two outside shots by Grant in the first couple of minutes. That is terrible judgement. At least drive to the basket and take a five footer.

Blown out in the first quarter 21-12. Outshot and outrebounded. StL has hit 5-6 threes, that won't last, but our lack of offense may. We are moving the ball slowly and not getting much penetration or good entry passes.

21 12 SLU 1st quarter. Looks like Poy better than our DPOY. Not ready to play.

Soon to be 23-21, when Kelley completes her three point play. Finally some offense on two great fast breaks, and StL has missed some open shots.
Scaife makes her first jumper, but misses two more foul shots.

OMG Kelley Austria with the drive and shot of the year.
But Greene leaves her in with two fouls and a minute to go, and she picks up #3. Poor coaching decision.
Up at the half 37-33

Second half key could be foul trouble. Kelley has three can she continue to guard Kempf? Vilet three for SLU and Stipanovich with two. Flyers are deeper and that could be the difference.

You have to trust your players so leaving Kelley in isn't a bad coaching decision just a misfortune.

As I said that StL shooting will not last, as they miss 6 straight threes in that quarter.
We are outshooting them 50%-39%. but being outrebounded 20-17. 6 turnovers, 3 by Jenna.
Kemph with 16 points and Austria with 3 fouls, may be the key to the game.

Stats show that their top 4 players outside of kemph have 2 or more fouls. Hope that continues. Better start making our freebies.

Are you serious?? Kelley was winded and a minute to go. Not bad, a terrible decision. We will see how that one plays out in the second half.
Trust your players? This is basketball, not teenage dating. Crap happens, and fouls are called even when you play great D. Ask Archie about leaving Pollard in the VCU game?

fatigue also has to be taken into consideration when making that decision you would also expect a senior to back off and not get that foul because you should realize that is slu's goal

Wow cooking with gas 48-37 on a great pick and roll by Harris.
How about our two bigs with 17 points and 14 rebounds vs theirs, 4 pts and 8 rebounds. Harris came to play today.

Horrible foul by Burdette. Absolutely pointless to reach there. Green probably should have subbed her out when they stopped the clock for the bench warning.

I hope not. If our bigs keep outplaying theirs. Now with 21 pts and 20 rebounds for Grant and Harris. Keep pounding it inside.

It was a disaster with Lauren at point and no Kelley or Jenna. Lauren has got to work on getting her head up on the dribble, and slowing down.
Now we have lost momentum totally.

Do the Flyers not understand that they're ahead and don't need to keep forcing passes that John Crosby wouldn't even throw 2 months ago.

Got some real help off the bench. Perhaps the difference considering all the foul trouble.
When was the last time somebody got 18 boards? That is a bunch.

Looks like Grant-Allen had 18 against Rhode Island on 07 FEB 2016.
This year Grant-Allen had 17 against SLU on 22 FEB and has had multiple games of 16.

Grant-Allen has an outside chance to move into top 25 all-time scoring. Currently has 908 and needs 59 to catch #25 Janice Roberts at 967.

Foul problems have limited the possible minutes played so the team may not be really tired tomorrow.
I agree 100% on Andi. She has evidently saved her best for last
Is GW still in the ncaa tournament or did that loss knock them out they need to win tomorrow because don't want to be looking for an at large bid against gw after they throttled us not long ago

If we play Duquense tomorrow, that will make two teams we have to beat 3 times to earn a championship. I think they are hitting their stride now and it will be a tough game. I am not counting St Joes out just yet.

Wasn't able to watch the game but listened to the St Louis feed. The announcers, while homers, were very complimentary of the Flyers as a whole. They repeatly talked about our bigs stifling theirs and that Kelley and Jenna were in a class by themselves.
