Run TMC = Tim (Hardaway) Mitch ( Richmond) and Chris (Mullins)
They were kind of the forebearer to what Mark Dantonio developed, which turned into what the Warriors have developed into.

Before Run TMC was The Triplets of Arkansas, Ron Brewer, Marvin Delph, and Sydney Moncrief. Three 6-4 guards that could flat out lay the lumber on teams.

High school juniors who should see their stock rise
Kira Lewis
Interest: Offers from Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, LSU, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Houston and others.
Why his stock could take off: First, part of the reason that his stock could be rising is that we've had him ranked a little too low. That aside, Lewis is a pure scorer off the dribble who can also get hot knocking down contested jump shots.
Tyson Etienne
Interest: Offers from Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Dayton, Cincinnati and more.
Why his stock could take off: We first saw Etienne in January at the HoopHall Classic. His ability to heat up opposing ball-handlers as a defender, combined with his ability to get to the rim on offense, make him a terrific two-way point guard.

Believe it was the three schools recruiting him the hardest, not necessarily his final three.

Kira Lewis
As speedy as they come with the ball in his hands, Lewis had Alabama (Avery Johnson), Georgia Tech (Josh Pastner), Dayton (Anthony Grant), Auburn, Iowa State, Georgia and Tulane in attendance.

Who is the one prospect that will see his stock soar in the weeks ahead the most? Kira Lewis has been tremendous this week. Reminds me some of Briante Weber. Tough as nail, elite speed and potential on defense. Florida State offered last night

Agreed. What would be nice though, would be pages, perhaps in some sort of spreadsheet form that lists:
Recruit by year, if we've offered
Transfers, transfer type (juco, grad, regular), has to sit, remaining years, previous school, expressed interest, offered
This would make it a lot easier than having to scroll through entry after entry, especially if Dayton hasn't even expressed any interest. Not sure how that would work, or if these forum pages even allow it. Probably easier on a website that could be linked to. Still, in the absence of that, these posts are definitely helpful.

There is a site - John Huston's UD Recruiting Page
He doesn't update it daily and it is not 100% complete, but loaded with great info.
And a spreadsheet that makes who we have, and who we have coming in very clear

I've visited John's site plenty of times, but it's not refreshed frequently and not quite what I was looking for.
I do like the idea of Google docs though.

Buy stock now, because Kira Lewis’ recruitment is about to soar through the roof. Kudos to Alabama, Iowa State and Dayton, among others, for getting in earlier than the rest of the field with the Alabama native.
Lewis was the biggest stock booster from Dallas, thanks to his endline-to-endline abilities and straight nastiness in the backcourt. The 6-foot-3 guard boasts long arms, but he may be at top speed with the ball in his hands out of anyone in America. His shot has improved, but where Lewis thrives is out in the open floor, as he causes complete havoc in putting pressure on opposing defenses with his shifty, quick-twitch abilities.
There are shades of former VCU star Briante Weber in the Rivals150 junior, as Lewis averaged over three steals and 14 points in Dallas and his stock is pointing directly up, and through the roof, as the week winds down.

Radar: i concur, we’re recruiting a second very skinny 6’8” guy who shoots a lot of outside shots in high school and a 6’5” guy who jumps real well. The 6’8” guy will look very much like the skinny guy in Obi Toppin that we already have on the roster and the 6’5” guy must sit out all year due to transfer rule. We are still looking at Cunningham at 6’6” or 6’7” playing a very under sized and out of position center position.
Where’s the beef? We need two centers (primary and backup-as practice buddy).

One of the hottest names coming out of the first April live period was 6-foot-7 small forward Diante Smith. He’s not cooling off anytime soon.
Playing with Showtime Hoops, Smith looked every bit the part of a high major wing prospect and somebody who needs serious consideration for the next Rivals150. He’s got size, he’s athletic, he hit jumpers and he showed a ton of heart on the defensive end.
Recently his recruiting has gone through the roof as Iowa State, Kansas State, Virginia Tech, South Florida and Dayton have now all offered. He’s been on campus at both Florida and Florida State and has additional interest from Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Alabama and Georgia.
Smith said that he plans to visit Dayton later on this spring. On Saturday he was watched by every school on his list including head coaches from Virginia Tech, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Cincinnati.

Another unranked player whose stock would be a buy on the stock market is Florida wing Diante Smith.
Pushing 6-foot-7, he looked the part of an athletic and versatile wing while playing over the weekend with Showtime Hoops. What really stands out is that he plays with a hunger and doesn't look to have been spoiled by anybody along the way.
He's made himself into a player with offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, Virginia Tech, Dayton and USF with many others tracking closely. Smith looks to be at least at top 100 level player in the class of 2019.

As of today, the race for 2019 four-star point guard Tre Mann looks like it could be one between Tennessee and Florida. He just wrapped up an official visit to Knoxville and is visiting with the Gators this week.
Things look to be headed towards a decision sooner than later with Florida State also making a major push. Kansas just offered as well and if other programs like the Jayhawks join in then I could see things slowing down a bit for Mann. However, that needs to happen soon or else he’s going to be off the board.
So, it’s likely Tennessee or Florida if Mann goes ahead and decides early but at this point it’s too close to call between one or the other.

Well that would be a bummer, especially if Kira Lewis Jr goes elsewhere as well. I know we've offered a number of 2019 PG but not sure any of them rank as high as those two. Gotta cast a wide net though, eventually you'll catch some good fish.

Kira Lewis got offers from Northwestern, UConn and Clemson tonight.
@JonHale_CJ
Four-star Alabama PG Kira Lewis Jr. said Kenny Payne called him this week and UK coaches plan to monitor him during live period. Payne told Lewis he reminded him a little of De'Aaron Fox.

Best I can tell these are the 2019 PG offers we have out
Kira Lewis, Jr.
Andre Gordon
Jovan Blacksher, Jr.
Tyler Bertram
Tyson Etienne
2020 offers for PG are
Posh Alexander
Andre Curbelo
Zeb Jackson
I guess if they feel they won't land a top PG for 2019, I could see them going the JUCO route possibly still this summer and hoping to land a 2020 like Zeb Jackson. But, AG pulled Crutcher out of a hat, so who knows what he'll be able to do. know the staff is working extremely hard to recruit these kids, they'll land one somewhere.

Thanks. I went to two different sites and one did list Toussaint and the other listed the ones above, but no one listed Mann. I know we have offered, just forgot to add them. Also shows the incompleteness of the recruiting sites like Rivals and 24x7 that have incomplete information.

You tube videos that I watched said that he was still a work in progress on offense. He is so much bigger than the average high school kids he goes up against and so I believe we shouldn't get too excited as yet. Anthony Grant and his staff are doing fine up to now in the recruiting department so I think we should let him decide if this is the big man he wants!

Whoa whoa whoa.
Clearly you're not familiar with how this works.
We identify players and give the coach permission to pursue. Other times, someone on staff identifies a payer and we have to nix it because we have access to YouTube tapes and in-depth analysis they don't.
Everyone has to know their place.
(I might need a surgeon to remove the tongue from my cheek.)

Kira Lewis, that also stood out and has seen his college recruitment soar in recent weeks. Arguably the fastest player in America with the basketball in his hands, Lewis has had a standout past two weekends on the travel circuit, leading to new offers from UConn, Indiana, TCU, Virginia Tech and Florida State.
A two-way producer that brings tremendous toughness, energy and potential to the perimeter, Alabama and Iowa State were two of those out in front for Lewis prior to the two evaluation periods last month. Now, the four-star guard has begun to take phone calls from Kansas and Kentucky, seeing his stock skyrocket like no one else in his 2019 class.

Well Amari, there is only one University that fits the criteria you laid out for us:
“I’m just waiting to view all my options,” he said. “I’m looking for a school where I can feel at home and the coaches treat me like family. Good players around me, good environment, good academics.”

To build on that, it's nice to see
"I’m going to do what the coach says. I’m that kind of player. I’m coachable. Whatever coach needs me to do, I’ll do,” he said.

Tre Mann's recruitment has really taken off this spring as he has pulled in offers from Louisville, Indiana, Kansas and USC, and visited Florida and Tennessee.
Friday, after his official visit to Florida, there were whispers that a commitment could be in the cards for the playmaking guard. The weekend went by without a pledge, which means only good things for the many others in the mix.
The Gators were the first high-major program to offer Mann, and his proximity to Gainesville also helps Mike White’s cause. Tennessee cannot be discounted, though, as Rick Barnes’ history with cultivating lead guard talent and the Vols' culture has caught Mann’s eye, too.
Could a commitment be around the corner? There is a 50-50 chance of that happening in the next week or two. If it doesn't, look for Mann to take his recruitment into the summer.

Tre Mann not committing does not help our chances, but it hurts them. He is a guy getting more great offers each week, and like the kid from Indiana, he is enjoying the ride. He will choose a big name, so he is off topic from here on out for me.

Much is expected from the 6-foot-6 Monsanto after the American Heritage-Plantation sharpshooter lit up the Georgia Stars for 30 points one week ago.
Immediately, college programs including Florida, Kansas, Illinois, Georgia, Clemson, TCU and Dayton jumped in to the picture with Monsanto, who already held offers from Kansas State, Memphis, Texas Tech, FGCU, USF, UMass and FIU

So an uncommitted recruit that has an open offer from us is off topic? I agree that he is unlikely to come here. But until he commits, I would think any uncommitted recruit with an offer from us is, by definition, on topic in a recruiting thread.

He has now been offered by Pitt, PSU, WVU, UVA and most A10 teams. Any kid being sought by Virginia and West Virginia must play good defense and with intensity. Some people will go nuts on that one because of a certain transfer.
Maceo is not a leaper, but so what, good handle, good shot and sees the floor well.

Kira Lewis article
https://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/...ira_lewis.html
The head coach for the U18 team will be Kansas' Bill Self. One of his assistants will be former Alabama coach Anthony Grant, who is now at Dayton. The Flyers have offered Lewis.
"It would be neat," Lewis said of the possibility of playing for Self and Grant, "because it would give me an insight on, if I chose one of those schools, how they would coach me and try to get me better and to the next level."

Kira Lewis Jr.– The Alabama native continues to blow up and I had one source this week tell me that he would be John Calipari’s quickest player if he committed to Kentucky. Stop, let that think in before continuing with this post. Calipari is recruiting a guy that may be quicker than John Wall, Marquis Teague and De’Aaron Fox. I’ll need to see it to believe it but that’s high praise. In the highlights below he seems more deliberate (think SGA) than fast, but his first step is pretty nasty.
He may visit UK in the next two weeks, but that visit may end up getting pushed back later into the summer. UK should be loaded at the guard position for 2019-2020 but adding Lewis Jr. would provide Calipari with the athleticism he loves in his guards.
Don’t be surprised if the Cats offer soon. Cal would love to do it in person, but if the visit doesn’t happen it may have to be over the phone.

Smooth and skinny like Jamaal Wilkes. Feather touch. Slices through the defense.

high 3-star SG @MaceoAustin5 says the teams that are staying in contact the most are Penn state, Duquesne, and Dayon. This guy is super explosive, he can fly. Good defender and scorer, also said Georgetown, Iowa St. , Butler, and UConn are recruiting him.
