Onions!
D Davis with the trey and K Davis with the "D". Double "D" got Rhody tonight. Another "d"emon exorcised.

The cardiac kids are back and alive. Gotta make games interesting, keeps people watching instead of turning channels.
Missed Kendall in this one, but Sam came through and Steve just enough to help.

Huge #trueteam road win. Baby D gets to be the hero tonight. Great D by Kyle on the last possession, and Big Steve grabs the rebound with authority. Pierre nailed his free throws, Scoochie came up with some big plays.
Big win not so much because RI is a great team (they are decent), but because we always lose there, and conference road wins are hard to come by. This Flyer team has turned the corner!
Rhode Island is neither a road nor an island. Discuss amongst yourselves. I'm feeling verklempt...

The next game is a key one, but I see a great deal of confidence in this team and look forward to playing at St Joe's. This team will rise to the occasion.

I'm hoping tonight's win allows them to play looser at SJU. I felt a loss tonight might cause them to play tightly next week trying to avoid a losing streak. But now? Just go out and play.

We have become the elephant. Teams may want to play us but I believe they don't think they can beat us. As Yogi said " 90% of the game is 50% mental". At least I think he said that.

Un-be-credible! Heroes galore! Baby D with a HUGE second half. Pierrre was a beast on the low block, and flawless from the line. Sam had an outstanding outing given the circumstances. Scoochie & Kyle did just enough right to win. Steve came up huge in the closing seconds. Just a great win, especially considering we were missing Pollard.

That was pretty to watch. No doubt this is Baby D's biggest shot in his college career. It reminds me of that big 3 he hit against Oklahoma before they went on their run. Daryl played with a lot of confidence tonight at both ends of the court. I hope this is his "coming out" game. We need him down the stretch.

Don't know if my stomach would call it pretty, but it was a great game and games like this get us ready for some good games in the post season.
By the number of posts on this thread, clearly we are seeing increasing interest in the Flyers this season.

The ladies are ready, have momentum and primed for the upset. Jodie is stepping into her role as are the other players and coming together at the right time.
Expect their star Jones to be back in action against the flyers but don't believe we will see Amber or Edwards again in a red and blue this year.(Austria of course if out for the year.) Its all on our reserves to beat one of the top teams in the A-10 on Sunday ESPNU at 12pm noon EDT. Game will be streamed by ESPN Watch
How many teams can lose three starters, top scorers and top defenders and still be in the hunt for A-10 championship tourney and NCAA run...IMHO not even UConn.
I now return you to your regular thread about mens basketball.

On vacation and did not get to see the game. Lived and died with game tracker and highlights this am. Did not see anything written about it. How was Hurley's sideline behavior?

It may have been the most composed I have ever seen him. The refs let the teams play for the most part so he didn't have much to complain about. I also have a feeling after the last couple of games where he went more bonkers than usual the AD may have spoken to him.
