Great news. Perhaps whatever her medical issues were held he back but she showed zero ability to play at this level. Wonder if Brown or Bohannan will stay. They both had dreadful seasons and with Jenna and Erin coming back and new talent coming in, they have to be questioning their value to the squad. Would not be surprised to see Davidson go too.

She's going to be a senior, not sure why she would transfer now.

Writing them off already? In Giacone's first two seasons she shot 32% from the field, averaged less than 3ppg, and less than 10mpg. She never started a game in her career until this past season.

This past season she was First Team A10 and Most Improved Player. She'd have been sent off to Molokai long ago had you been making the roster moves. And we already know how you felt about Bradshaw, the A10 Defensive Player of the Year.

With the COVID transfer she would have two years of eligibility left.

Yes I would have preferred Jenna left. Who knows what we might have gotten in another player during the three years when she contributed little. A program can’t succeed waiting on one good year from a kid. Still, Jenna is a once in a great while. How about all those who never develop? When will Maddy Dennis be a consistent player? Have you watched Taylor lumber up the floor? Are we missing Ella Skeens, or Brittany Ward, Jordan Wilmouth, Ashleigh Parkinson and many others? If they all would eventually turn into Jenna’s we’d be Connecticut.

What we saw out of Destiny was 26% fg% and 16% from 3. Capria was 31% fg and 1 for 11 from deep. Random people from the stands can beat that. With 6 year seniors coming back and new recruits coming in, this is an opportunity for kids like these to find a program where they can contribute and where we can upgrade to perhaps win in the postseason and do better than losing 4 of our last 6.

As to Bradshaw I applaud her defense and her rebounding. But clearly I am not a fan. She was terrible as a shooter and not a great distributor of the ball. I think her inability to energize the offense contributed substantially to our difficulties winning against good teams.

True, but she's had some injury issues, so I'm not sure what that would portend for her transferring. I meant that she's more likely to stay to graduate. If she wanted to go somewhere else after that for grad school, good for her.

She had 93 assists and 36 turnovers. Your mind rejects reality and substitutes it's own.

And that was 93 assists in only 19 games -- Bradshaw had 93 assists the previous year in 33 games.

Bradshaw had the ball all the time and assists are an outgrowth of that, and her inability to score (1.8 fg per game career. ), but she was not a deft facilitator of others. We can agree to disagree on her.

The real issue is how to improve the program to win vs good teams and in the post season — rather than just beat up on a weak league. In order to do that we need to weed out those unable to contribute to that, rather than hope and pray that kids will turn into stars when there is little to no evidence of that ability. I would suggest that the odds are very long for Brown, Bohannon based on the sample so far. Further, they seem well behind Cook, we have two 6th years starters coming back, Bradshaw had the ball all the time and assists are an outgrowth of that, and her inability to score (1.8 fg per game career. ), but she was not a deft facilitator of others. But she is leaving so we can agree to disagree on her.

Further, Bradshaw is back, they seem well behind Cook, we have two 6th years starters coming back, Malyia Perry, new recruits, LeMaster potentially and the transfer portal. Why would they stay? We should be looking to upgrade. They should be looking for where they can contribute.

So are turnovers, and yet she had vastly more of one than another and above the mythical 2:1 ratio (2.58) which any coach will gladly take.

This would also be a great time to remind everyone that Bradshaw -- the terrible shooter -- was our best 3pt shooter last year. She didnt take a ton because she's so short. You aint gonna get as many good looks as Whalen or Giacone who are both 6ft+. She was also the league's best defender and one the best rebounding guards 5'6'' or under in CBB.

Knowing the top 9-10 scorers return from last year's A10 regular season champ means we should go outside and jump off a bridge.
