Brooks Hall
I have listened to Larry and Bucky broadcasting Flyers basketball longer the many of you folks have been alive. Listening to this duo has been most enjoyable.
I listened to Larry and Brooks Hall broadcasting the Auburn game while I watched it on TV (probably was a good move on my part). I must say that Brooks Hall (as he has the past few years when filling in for Bucky on road games) did simply an outstanding job filling us in on the technical aspects of the game action. When he was critical of the action on the court he told you why. Same thing when he was commenting positively.
If Hall is interested in doing color on the broadcasts after Bucky hangs it up, I hope WHIO will put him on full time. I think he does a fantastic job.

I too enjoy listening to Brooks. I know it's Brooks, Keith or Josh Postorino (spelling?) that fill in for Bucky on the road. I would vote for Brooks to fill in full-time. He does do a nice job and knows his stuff and I believe he is pretty well connected to the team.
Brooks has always been a good guy. I played against him in high school. I was a senior when he was a junior. Never talked a lot of trash and was a good opponent.

I hope Brooks gets the color job for all games -- home and away. I would guess it depends on whether his day job would permit him the time to do it

Would be even easier on him time wise if his daughter joined the WBB team!

Agree that Brooks is the best by far of those three. His remarks are on point, not a lot of window dressing. I think he pairs well with Larry, who is a little more boisterous.

Which one? He has 2 in HS (Bellbrook and Wayne)...is UD recruiting either??
FWIW, I reffed the Bellbrook girls last night and his junior year daughter (Brooklynn) is out for the year with a foot injury. I struck up a short conversation with her during the JV game and she was very open about the injury and recovery...she's looking forward to AAU ball next Spring but has some work to do before it starts.

Freshman Bree Hall has not played a varsity game yet, but her list of offers already includes Dayton, Michigan State, Minnesota, Indiana and Ohio State.
