DetroitFlyer will become famous soon enough
Wow!

That has to be some sort of record.... Amazing. Talk about high expectations. Interesting comment by Tino as well.... Tino certainly has the overall athletic ability to play on Sundays, but it will never be as a QB.... He would have his best shot as a safety or cornerback I think.... Second best shot might be receiver/kick returner. Sounds like Jeff Pechan will be back as well. Even if Tino is the QB, and I think he will be, I will feel MUCH better having Jeff back as the back-up. It would give him a year to get football healthy and get back in the swing of things. Hopefully, his throwing arm will be as strong as before the injury. Man, how long to football season starts again?

Flyer Gramps is on a distinguished road
A legacy is left at the end of a season not the beginning

Yes, agree with DF that expectations will be high for 2010. There will be plenty of exciting play too. But, we had expectations with a nearly entire returning defense in 2006 and the won-loss ended up 4-6. So the games still have to be played, injuries avoided and the guys are looking forward to it.

I don't know when the article was written - maybe before Christmas? There still may be changes to that return list; maybe even more by my count.

What is impressive is the number of players with awards who still have eligibilty left. Like I said, only one frosh played four years ago so the opportunity for a veteran team exits now. Just didn't think it would be such a decorated bunch. Go Winter Workouts! Go Spring Game! Go FLYERS!
