Now The Real Fun Begins

BEVERLY HILLS (MI) -- The non-conference portion of the 2016-2017 University of Dayton Flyers men’s basketball schedule is in the books, finishing at a respectable 9-3. Those of you with a serious case of “woulda, coulda, shoulda” disease may lament that if the Red and Blue had only played two solid halves instead of just the second one in their three losses then Archie’s guys would be undefeated. This thinking conveniently ignores the fact that had Dayton beaten Nebraska they would have faced powerful UCLA, minus Kendall Pollard and Josh Cunningham. That would not have been pretty.

That was then; this is now. The A-10 slate finds the Flyers starting off with the LaSalle Explorers at home Friday night and then a roadie to always tough St. Bonaventure next Tuesday.

Let the fun begin!
