DAYTON (OH) -- The Dayton Flyers women's soccer team spotted Fordham a first half lead, but rallied back in the second half to up-end the Rams 3-1 and remain in sole possession of first place in the A10 with just two league matches left on the season. UD improves to 11-4-1 (6-0-0) and is...

UDBrian
The volleyball team has six matches remaining prior to the A10 playoffs. Since Alaina injured her shoulder the team has been experimenting with various lineups. It is probably about time to decide on the best lineup and begin maximizing the possibilities.
The recent lineup...

Let's Play Two!
BEVERLY HILLS (MI) -- In the words of the immortal Ernie “Mr. Cub” Banks:
“Let’s play two!”
Today affords yours truly with the rare sports treat of a Flyer/Red Sox doubledip, with one game having no meaning whatsoever and the other with a metric sh*t ton at stake…I’ll leave it up...

Christopher M Rieman
DAYTON (OH) -- Greg Enstone's second-half header proved to be the only scoring of the match as the Dayton Flyers ended a three-game winless skid by topping the Duquesne Dukes 1-0 on a chilly autumn evening at Baujan Field. On a night honoring eight UD seniors, the Flyers notch their first...

DAYTON (OH) -- Moments after taking the microphone Saturday afternoon after his players wrapped up the annual UD women's basketball Red-Blue scrimmage, head coach Jim Jabir did something -- perhaps for the first time ever -- that resulted in 3,500 Flyer fans nearly falling out of their chairs:...

Volleyball Update
UDBrian
The Volleyball team went on the road to play against Fordham and Rhode Island just over a week ago. Flyer fans are spoiled and I predicted a victory in both matches. The Flyers did beat Forham in three sets but lost to Rhode Island in five sets.
The Rhode Island match was very very close...

DAYTON (OH) -- Only four matches remain on the 2013 UD Women’s Soccer regular season schedule, yet there’s plenty to play for as crunch time approaches. The reason? A resurgence by head coach Mike Tucker’s squad over the last three weeks to put the Flyers in the driver’s seat for the...
