Overtime Rule Changes
Starting this season, regular season results that are tied after 90' will stand. The sudden death OT has been eliminated.
In conference postseason play as well as in NCAA's, two 10 min overtime periods will be used in their entirety, rather than settle it on the first goal. PK's will settle any games that are still tied after 110.'
It will be interesting to see how results play out and if any in game strategy is affected. But we shall soon see.

I'm okay with this change for regular season. For postseason however er I still favor settling it in the field of play by restarting 10v10 and removing one player every 5 minutes until golden goal.

I'm interested to see how it affects strategy during the year. Could be a lot of middle of the pack teams just packing it in and playing for the tie if there are a few minutes left in regulation. Games that normally were won in overtime will now be one point for each side in the standings.
And now some games that featured a golden goal in OT in the postseason could conceivably end in PKs if an equalizer is found, and I absolutely cringe at that prospect. Especially as a Flyer fan, since the Flyers have never in my memory come away with the win in PK's over my years of following them. The objective, however must be to not take the foot off the gas but to double up a lead in OT while avoiding the equalizer.

A10 men's and women's soccer has added minimum three days of travel and rest between each round of the 2022 soccer championships. This is an improvement that should help the avoidance of injuries and fatigue, thus resulting in a better tournament.
