WSOC gets the 3-2 road win tonight at hapless 4-11-1 Fordham. Up 1-0 (Gemelli) at the half, Fordham gets two straight after intermission to make it 2-1 Rams, Gemelli ties it with her brace then Donley in the last 10 minutes goes far post on a header off a corner kick to avoid calamity. Three goals on the road is always good and Itala coulda had a couple more, but overall the run of play was subpar and it shouldn't have needed three goals to get the dubya -- we shoulda walked the dog but once again the Flyer Malaise takes over like a virus and we spend most of the match going at 80% speed.

Maybe the worst passing game of the season. Raimondi went down w/an ankle in the first 5min and was carted off. Really missed Diana tonight in the middle. Nobody there to win balls, distribute, and move the pocket forward with a sense of urgency. Everybody is missing players this late in the year so that cant be a crutch.

The good news is SLU beat VCU 1-0 at home tonight to drop VCU behind us in the A10 standings. If we beat URI on Sunday we'll take 2nd place and avoid SLU until the A10 Finals. The bad news is SLU just wrapped up another vomit-inducing A10 season title and I'm not sure seeding is going to matter anyway. They remain a class above.
